 today in class we took our benchmark 1 test it was fairly easy not very had but when we got to the writing part of the test I struggled. it required us to read two passages. After that we type up an informational essay about both of the two passages, I struggled because I had trouble on how to form the essay.

If I Had to Write A Poem

 If i had to write a poem it would be about school and how hard it is, school makes me feel like my life is cut in half. Every day that I get home from school after doing work all day I have more work to do once I get home. When i'm at school i try my best to complete all of my work and sometimes i may slip from time to time. This is most likely due to the fact that i have been used to 4 classes my whole life so now having 7 of them makes things harder. Vocab word

 One word from Vocabulary Lesson 12 that stands out to me is maelstrom, A maelstrom is a powerful, chaotic situation filled with confusion. I first encountered this word while reading a book where the main character was caught in a maelstrom of emotions, struggling to make a difficult decision. Understanding this word has helped me improve my writing by allowing me to describe very chaotic situations with a stronger connection. Instead of simply saying "confusion" or "disorder," I can use "maelstrom" to evoke a stronger connection to the readers.
