today in class we went over how to explain evidence and how it can help solve problems or better further your claim. this is also associated with argument essays and papers because you can have a lot of evidence in your paper but without an explanation to back it up the evidence is worthless.

If I Had to Write A Poem

 If i had to write a poem it would be about school and how hard it is, school makes me feel like my life is cut in half. Every day that I get home from school after doing work all day I have more work to do once I get home. When i'm at school i try my best to complete all of my work and sometimes i may slip from time to time. Vocab word

 One word from Vocabulary Lesson 12 that stands out to me is maelstrom, A maelstrom is a powerful, chaotic situation filled with confusion. I first encountered this word while reading a book where the main character was caught in a maelstrom of emotions, struggling to make a difficult decision. Understanding this word has helped me improve my writing by allowing me to describe very chaotic situations with a stronger connection. Instead of simply saying "confusion" or "disorder," I can use "maelstrom" to evoke a stronger connection to the readers.
