A time when i had to speak in front of an audience, is when I had to do a school play and I had to sing in front of everyone. I was really nervous because of the fact that it was my first time ever doing something like this. One of my fears was just being In front of that many people for the first time and saying a big speech in front of them. I overcame it by just being brave enough to face my fears head up and chin out, even though I did it I hated doing it. If I saw someone else struggling with stage fright I would most likely tell them something like the worse thing that could happen is you dying.


In class we prepared for our project presentation.

 One word from Vocabulary Lesson 12 that stands out to me is maelstrom, A maelstrom is a powerful, chaotic situation filled with confusion. I first encountered this word while reading a book where the main character was caught in a maelstrom of emotions, struggling to make a difficult decision. Understanding this word has helped me improve my writing by allowing me to describe very chaotic situations with a stronger connection. Instead of simply saying "confusion" or "disorder," I can use "maelstrom" to evoke a stronger connection to the readers.
